Researches

About MY researches

Within these pages, I may write "my researches", "the results I've achieved", and similar sentences. This should be read as "our researches" and "the results we have achieved". Indeed, many ideas, remarks, reports and articles result from discussions and works performed in common with some colleagues. These pages would not be what they are without them. These people with whom I work, discuss, eat and drink (coffee, beer or wine) are phD students, colleagues from the LITIS, from the University or from other laboratories abroad. Many of them are not computer scientists, but mathematicians, biologists, sociologists, etc.

Main Domains of interest

My current researches are closely related to:

  • Dynamic Graphs;
  • Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) with a special focus on DT-MANET (Delay-Tolerant MANET);
  • Ant Algorithms;
  • Complex Systems.

Research Actions

  • Modelling MANET and DT-MANET connection graphs with Dynamic Graphs.
  • Designing and studying Mobility Models for DT-MANET.
  • Broadcasting in (DT) MANET.
  • Designing decentralized algorithms for DT-MANET, and Building and Maintaining Structures in Dynamic Graphs.
  • Implicit Optimization using Ant Algorithms.
  • Optimization under Uncertainties.

Current Projects

  • SARAH
  • Alerting Populations using MANET
  • CALAS (Harbor Logistics)

Partners and sponsors

In the context of different research actions we collaborate with academic partners, local collectivities and companies. Our main sponsors are the French Ministry of Research, the French National Research Agency (ANR), the Haute-Normandie Region, the Ministry of Research of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the Ministry of Research of the Gabon Republic.
